POP is made with a dry hopping technique using Mosaic and Cascade hops from Italy. The cereal grains that Baladin uses for its beers are farmed organically, and are 85% locally grown. Baladin farms a total of about 450ha of land in Piemonte (near the brewery), Basilicata and Marche combined. They are the first beer company that was associated with the Slow Food movement, and from start to finish, it takes about 4 months from harvest, to fermentation, to stabilization of the beer before canning.

The beers has herbaceous aromas with slight citrusy hints. Light to medium bodied with citrus and dry herbs, fizzy and refreshing.
