The “cedro” (citron in English) is large citrus fruit with a thick pith that is used widely in Southern Italy in desserts and cakes. This drink gets its delicious citrus aroma and flavour from an infusion of Calabrian citron from Diamante. It is bright and refreshing with a hint of sugar sweetness and the lingering flavour of the citron fruit.

The name translates to “dark foam” and the flavour of this bibite is both unusual and yet familiar as it is inspired by the classic Italian soft drink chinotto. Baladin has gone back to the traditional recipe using an infusion of Ligurian myrtle-leaf orange (the chinotto fruit), the pink part of the rhubarb root and orange zest.

This drink is named Ginger in honour of Hollywood legend Ginger Rogers. It is an infusion of bitter and sweet oranges from Gargano PGI (in Puglia), with spices and vanilla. The flavour is refreshing with pithy orange flavour, soft vanilla and a subtle bitter orange finish, similar to an Italian "aperitivo" orange drink.
