Description
Romano Dogliotti is the owner of La Caudrina, and one of the first small growers to bottle his own wine, many years ago. Romano and his sons produce one of the very best examples of Moscato d'Asti, and they also make the only artisanal Asti Spumante.
La Caudrina Moscato d'Asti is made in the Charmat method: placing the pressed grape juice in a pressurised tank with native yeasts for low and slow fermentation, and the carbon dioxide released during fermentation makes the wine sparkling.
La Caudrina is perfect alongside fruit desserts, panettone and pandoro, or as a summer wine to have on its own.
