Description
This sweet and rich dessert wine is produced with select grapes in only the best vintages, from the Monte Fontana vines of Pedemonte. Recioto is a historic Valpolicella wine, known through history under different names since Roman times.
After hand-harvesting and strict selection, the grapes are dried in a controlled environment for 4 months. The wine is obtained via natural arrest of fermentation and left to mature for 2 years in Slavonian oak casks, then aged in bottle for an additional 6 months.
