Description

This family-run estate is managed by our good friends Giovanni and Caterina Sergio, along with their daughters Angela and Luigia. Giovanni works closely with his oenologist, and together they have created a wine that is expressive of the unique geographical location, and which has remarkable longevity.

Based a few kilometres from Pachino in the furthest south-east corner of Sicily, the soils are quite rocky and the climate is influenced by the nearby Monte Iblei mountain range and the Ionian Sea.

manual harvesting with selection of the best bunches, soft destemming and subsequent fermentation in steel on natural yeasts, with contact on the skins for approximately 20 days and subsequent refinement in French oak barriques for approximately 14 months.

Wine with great personality, perfect combination of native Sicilian vines. Elegance minerality and freshness are the distinctive features of this wine from strong territorial imprint capable of accompanying in a manner excellent traditional regional dishes and dishes based on red meat, cheeses and stewed fish.
